It happened! Team Light ran all around the world this weekend — for the second year in a row!

Spearheaded by Ipsissima Franca Lanyon, the international community of initiates came together to support important causes in their community.

In Toronto, Canada, Ipsissima Franca and the team of initiates from Canada and the US, ran together in High Park — over 60 people strong — and raised over $22,000 for the Parkdale Community Foodbank!. As individuals Ipsissima Franca, Run co-captain Christina Becerra and MMS VP of Administration Kathleen Lanyon were the top fundraisers of the whole event which boasted over 3500 runners.

This run was an opportunity not only to get out into the community for charity, but also an opportunity to come together as a team, challenge ourselves to be better — to build the Light within ourselves, and share with that Light the whole world.

The team returned to MMS HQ where Team Light’s strongest supporter (and biggest fan) Sovereign Ipsissimus Dave Lanyon joined everyone for a pancake breakfast and to celebrate our huge win as a team, and as individuals.

There were inner and outer transformations, struggles and strength, but everyone crossed the finish line and everyone contributed to creating a better world… with a lot of love, laughter and joy along the way!
