4th Annual Team Light Run — we are Stronger Together! 

The 4th Annual Team Light 8K Charity Run brought people together from around the world with one shared purpose — to challenge ourselves, support those in need, and create greater unity through service. On April 4, 2026, Team Light runners, walkers and supporters united across the globe, with teams participating in:

What began a few years ago as an idea spearheaded by Ipsissima Franca Lanyon has grown into a worldwide coordinated effort. Each year, Team Light participants train, challenge themselves and come together while raising funds and supporting charities within their own local communities. Here in Toronto, Team Light joined the Beneva Spring Run-Off in High Park and reached an incredible milestone — raising more than $52,000 for the Parkdale Community Food Bank and becoming the event’s top fundraising team!

 Across the Atlantic, participants from throughout the UK and Europe also came together, including runners who travelled from different cities and countries to take part. In Ireland, participants joined from communities including Belfast, Donegal, Dublin, Dundalk, Sion Mills and Derry — all united by the desire to give back and help others.

The Team Light Run is about much more than completing 8 kilometres. It is about people in different countries, cultures and communities choosing to move forward together with a common purpose. Every kilometre represents the opportunity to grow.

Every donation helps someone in need. Every participant contributes to something greater than themselves.

From Canada to England, Brazil to South Africa, the United States to Ireland and Japan, Team Light ran together for UNITY. Thank you to every runner, walker, supporter, donor, volunteer and organizer around the world who helped make the 4th Annual Team Light Run possible. Running for the support of men, women and children.
